This week I held my first fall photo shoot of the season in Shevlin park and became inspired by the colors. Creatively, a changing season brings a new color palette to my interior design and also to the shop. For the fall season, the palette is filled with browns, greens, orange spice, crimson, blues and grays.
As I moved through this photo shoot, I wanted to tell a story of color, and also focus on a few of my favorite new items.
Throw blankets in gray, brown, ivory and orange spice.
Colorful centerpieces of squash and peppers in yellow & crimson. Centerpiece bowls filled with apples and pears create magic for a seasonal brunch menu.
Fresh Autumn salad topped with crumbled blue cheese, glazed pecans and apple slices.
Fall candles - I am looking forward to lighting the Cozy and Harvest candle scents from Jack Be Nimble. We light them in the shop to burn all day.
New rugs with color palettes and patterns to refresh and feel new in preparation for the holidays (see our model Lucy on rug samples below)
A vase of colorful flowers hidden in the shallow river end. Sneak a rock in the bottom of a large vase. This makes a delightful surprise for your guests and a fun splash of color.
And if you are still reading this I will give you a secret. In the images below, you will see a squirrel posing with a squash. He stole it from our props and played supermodel for a spell. His images are peppered throughout the gallery.
All items in the gallery are available in store and online. (does not include the squirrel or Lucy)
